The 411 On The 41st (WSOP): The Brat And The Bear Aim For Fresh Karp In Event #41
June 24, 2021
The $1,500 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Low Split Eight-or-Better event at this year’s World Series of Poker is down to its last day, and among the fifteen players still remaining, sit numerous noteworthy pros.

Of key interest among those pros is the man historically with more success during the World Series of Poker than any other, Phil “The Poker Brat” Hellmuth, now just 14 players away from a possible record twelfth WSOP bracelet.

Hellmuth, currently in the top five with 331,000 in tournament chips, has never won a bracelet in a non-Hold ‘em event, so today could truly be historic, however there are numerous other interested parties keen to make sure that Hold 'em trend only continues.  Some of the other major players still with chips in Event #41 include chip leader Ryan Karp (564,000), Steve Jelinek (538,000), Ben Lamb (320,000), Tony Cousineau (22,000) and PokerRoad’s own Barry "The Bear" Greenstein, currently right around the center of the pack with 204,000 in tournament chips.

Event #41, the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Low Split Eight-or-Better, continues again today (6/24) at 2:30 p.m. local time.  To rail the action visit www.wsop.com for live updates powered by PokerNews.
