The 411 On The 41st (WSOP): Jordankickz Crowe In Event #47
July 1, 2021
Shawn “jordankickz” Busse, a 21-year old professional poker player with significant online cashes on seemingly all the major online sites, grabbed his first World Series of Poker bracelet last last night in Event #47 of the World Series of Poker, a $1,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold ‘em tournament with over 3,100 registered entrants.

By outlasting such tough pros as Faraz Jaka (265th- $2,083), Jeff Madsen (200th- $2,308), Will “The Thrill” Failla (189th- $2,589), Antonio Esfandiari (73rd- $4,504) and Scott Montgomery (29th- $11,232), Busse earned a top prize worth $485,791, the bracelet, and a box of Saint Luis Rey Rothchilde cigars in honor of the late, great, Amir Vahedi, who won an event much like this in 2003.

It wasn’t an easy road for Busse to secure his biggest ever live tournament win.  Despite only being a $1,000 buy-in tournament, Event #47 had tough, international competition vying for the bracelet over its entire five day run including Denmark’s European Poker Tour champion Allan Baekke, who eventually came in eighth, and Canada’s Owen Crowe, who made it all the way to heads-up play before finally falling to Busse.

The final table finish positions for Event #47, a $1,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold ‘em, were as follows:

1st.  Shawn Busse- $485,791

2nd.  Owen Crowe- $300,494

3rd.  Pekka Ikonen- $212,660

4th.  Chuan Shi- $153,935
