PokerStars Release Preliminary WCOOP Details

As the largest live poker tournament of the year, the World Series of Poker Main Event, rolls along in Las Vegas, PokerStars- the largest online poker room- has begun to release the details for the 2010 World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP), their premier event of the year.

According to a recent story on the PokerStars blog, the 2010 WCOOP is now set to begin Sunday, September 5th and run about 3 weeks, ending with a 2-day, $5,200 buy-in No-Limit Hold ‘em main event, on September 26th. 

Before the main event, will be 61 preliminary events (about 3 a day) ranging all the way from a $109 buy-in, 8-Game mix event, to a $10,300 buy-in High Roller pure No-Limit Hold ‘em tournament, and nearly every other game and buy-in imaginable in between.
