WSOP 50K Poker Players Championship Hits ESPN Tonight!
July 27, 2021
ESPN’s televised coverage of the 2010 World Series of Poker starts strong tonight (7/27/2010), with two new hours of footage from Event #2, the $50,000 buy-in, Poker Players Championship.

This event, which ended up by all accounts being any poker television producer’s dream scenario, not only featured 116 of the best players in the world, but also a huge total prize pool worth over $5.5 million, a first prize worth nearly $1.6 million, and a final table full of fun, recognizable, and well liked faces.

Just some of the players represented at that final table included John Juanda, Daniel Alaei, David Oppenheim and both Robert Mizrachi and his brother Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi- the first real argument as to why many now believe 2010’s WSOP has to be regarded as “the year of the Mizrachis.”

Today’s coverage, which will once again feature the hosting talents of Lon McEachern and Norman Chad, begins at 8 p.m. ET and runs till 10.  For further details visit or check local listings in your area.
