Harrah’s Interactive Entertainment seems to have begun its march into finally becoming a force in the online poker market, with both the recent release of an online play money site for US players and an expanded real money site for players in the UK.

The new sites, a partner of Dragonfish- which is itself a division of 888 Holdings Plc- takes advantage of recent software upgrades, for a contemporary and cutting edge player experience right from the onset, allowing new WSOP players to forego the technology curve many new sites must endure. 

And although the US version of the site, unlike the UK's, may at this point still be purely for play money- much like the WSOP’s recently released Facebook game- it is already, even at this early stage, easy to see the potential of the brand if indeed the US market does become regulated in the near future; not to mention the daunting challenge other online poker sites may soon face, in competing with what is surely an internationally respected and recognized brand.
