Phil “The Unabomber” Laak, one of poker’s most well known personalities, is currently in the hospital after a weekend “with the crew,” which included a trip atving, went horribly wrong.

According to Laak’s twitter page- and confirmed on Antonio Esfandiari’s- the unexpected hospital visit became a necessity after Laak crashed the all-terrain vehicle he was driving while hanging with Esfandiari, Alec Torelli and other well known poker pros in Oregon for an extreme camping weekend, resulting in seven broken bones and a severe laceration of his right eye.

Latest news on the accident has Laak receiving stitches for the eye but reportedly somewhat out of the woods and in generally good spirits, even providing some fairly disturbing images of himself in his hospital bed for his over 10,000 twitter followers.
