2010 WSOP Main Event Coverage Begins Tonight
August 10, 2021
With the 2010 World Series of Poker appetizers, the Tournament of Champions and Poker Players Championship, now out of the way, ESPN viewers finally get a chance to dig into the main course, two hours of World Series of Poker Main Event coverage!

Tonight’s (8/10) first few episodes from this year’s Main Event will focus on the Day Ones, specifically Day 1a and Day 1b, and if press announcements from the WSOP are to be believed, will spend a lot of time with everyone’s favorite poker loud mouth and DeepStacks University instructor, Mike Matusow

Matusow, without giving anything away, is always fun to watch whether he’s winning or losing (often particularly when he’s losing) and his results in past Main Events certainly warrants his spot on the featured table, but he’ll be far from the only familiar face featured on tonight’s broadcast.  Other top pros expected to be seen include Annette Obrestad, Dan Harrington, Chris Moneymaker, Erick Lindgren and Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi.

Tonight’s two Main Event WSOP episodes are set to begin promptly at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN (unless preempted by some unexpected sports emergency, like say Brett Favre wavering some more) and will last until 10 p.m.  For more information visit www.wsop.com, or check local listings in your area.
