The first pay event for this season’s PokerRoad League at Broadway Tables begins this Sunday, the first of eight tournaments that could lead to three PokerRoad players earning $1,000 prize packages and many others winning company swag, event tokens, and of course all-important forum bragging rights.

Sunday’s tournament will begin at 9:15 ET, the standard go-to time for every event through the regular season- ending October 3rd- and each tournament will feature a $33 buy-in, picked to be affordable yet big enough to keep things interesting. 

The PokerRoad League will feature a leader board to keep track of how players are doing throughout the season, and those in the top 80% will automatically qualify for the Championship Tournament where the $1,000 prize packages can eventually be won.

All of this season’s PokerRoad League events will take place at Broadway Tables, a new site- and CakePoker skin- which will award players signed up through PokerRoad 33% rakeback on all their play.  Depositing money with Broadway Tables is easy and credit card deposits have thus far had an 80% success rate according to PokerRoad’s own Court Harrington, who recently posted a video about this event.  Thus far prepaid NetSpend cards, which can be purchased at many major retailers like Walmart and CVS, have worked even better, apparently going through 100% of the time.
