FTOPS Stops With TyboVegas Claiming 400K Plus
August 16, 2021
The seventeenth version of Full Tilt Poker’s Online Poker Series concluded late Sunday night, with online player “TyboVegas” claiming the main event jersey and a top prize worth $423,057.41.

Despite “TyboVegas” earning the most prestigious “W” in FTOPS XVII, it not only wasn’t the largest prize awarded on Sunday, it remarkably wasn’t even the largest awarded in that particular event.  For coming in second to “TyboVegas,” online player “DQnk” actually claimed the biggest chunk of the $3 million prize pool worth $446,942.59, thanks to an agreed upon deal made between the final two players during heads-up play.

A $400,000 plus payday for two players is pretty impressive for any single day of an online poker series, but Full Tilt was actually able to boast a third as well, thanks to professional player Mclean “PureProfitFour” Karr, who won the $2,000 buy-in, two-day FTOPS event that concluded on Sunday- hosted by PokerRoad’s Gavin Smith- for $417,000.
