The Legends (Of PokerRoad) Second Start
August 22, 2021
The World Poker Tour Legends of Poker Day 1b, took place Saturday at Los Angeles’ Bicycle Casino, with another 276 players entering the fray.

Among that second starting day group sat many impressive players including such pros as Shannon Shorr, Scott Seiver, Daniel Negreanu, Isaac Haxton, Eric “basebaldy” Baldwin and Kathy Liebert, who was also honored during the day for playing in her 100th WPT event.

Unfortunately for Liebert, and in fact all of the above listed pros, this was not her day and was eliminated before the end of Day 1b play, however luckily quite a few other recognizable faces were significantly more fortunate.

Some of the top pros that were part of the surviving Day 1b pool included Phil Hellmuth, David Oppenheim, Joe Hachem, Jonathan Little, Scott Clements and PokerRoad’s own Joe Sebok, who finished the day with one of the largest chip stacks of the group.  Sebok, finished Day 1b with only about 10,000 more chips than his father Barry from Day 1a, and remarkably they were just two of a very large Contingent of PokerRoaders and PokerRoad Alumni, that survived the two Day Ones.

Other Day 2 Legends players, hopefully more than a little familiar to faithful PokerRoad readers, include Erica Schoenberg, Jeff Madsen, Maria Ho, Shane Schleger, Bart Hanson, Thuy Doan and Allen “Chainsaw” Kessler.
