First Dublin UKIPT Story Ends With A Silver Lining

20-year-old Max Silver, after coming in sixth out of 401 players in the PokerStars UK and Ireland Poker Tour Edinburgh main event last month, made it even farther in Dublin, taking first place for a top prize worth €72,000- about $93,000 USD.

Silver this time outlasted a total field of 590 players to claim what would be his first major tournament title including such pros as Vanessa Rousso, J.P. Kelly and “Miami” John Cernuto, who cashed in the event in 34th place.

The final table payout positions for the PokerStars UKIPT Dublin main event were as follows:

1st.  Max Silver- €72,000

2nd.  Ronan Gilligan- €43,400

3rd.  Tom Kitt- €26,400

4th.  Ciaran Taggart- €19,500

5th.  Kevin Allen- €15,200

6th.  Anton Kouliavtsev- €12,100

7th.  Ursula Marmion- €9,200

8th.  Peter McGarvey- €6,900
