WSOP Europe Event #2: In The Money
September 17, 2021
The second day of the second event of the 2010 World Series of Poker Europe, the £5,250 buy-in, Pot-Limit Omaha, concluded recently at The Casino of the Empire with now only 15 players still in contention for a WSOP bracelet and top prize worth $159,514.

Among those few remaining players are still numerous exciting pros including John Racener, the current chip leader of the event and also one of the nine men still in contention for the World Series of Poker Main Event.  Other top pros still fighting for this WSOP Europe title include Jeff Lisandro, Joe Serock, Jeff Madsen, and two players from the first event of the 2010 WSOP Europe, Willie Tann and Chris Bjorin.

Phil Laak, the winner of that previous event, will unfortunately not be joining those two for potentially another WSOP Europe final table go-around, having busted during the difficult second day along with such top players as Scott Fischman, Hoyt Corkins, Chad Brown and PokerRoad’s own Barry Greenstein, who was eliminated just two spots shy of the money in 20th place overall.

The final 15 players still in the hunt, will now return tomorrow for the last day of Event #2 at 3 p.m. London time.  To follow updates from that day as they come in, or to read more about Day 2, visit powered by PokerNews.
