WSOP Europe: Hansen A Headliner In Final Four Of #4
September 22, 2021
There’s one often mentioned list in the poker world, that none of the well known poker players associated with, want to be on; and that’s the list of most talented poker player yet to earn a World Series of Poker bracelet.

Multiple World Poker Tour champion, Gus Hansen, has seemingly been on that list since many in the media first began talking about it, but that may all change tomorrow thanks to Event #4 of the 2010 WSOP Europe- the No-Limit Hold ‘em High Roller Heads-up- where Hansen is now in the final four.

This £10,350 buy-in, heads-up tournament, initially attracted 103 of the best players in the game, players so well known to poker fans that their full names don’t even need to be said.  Pros like Negreanu, Ivey, Seed, Lederer, Rousso, Ferguson and Seidel competed, but after two full days of play, arguably only one true legend remains; though some of Hansen’s final few opponents are close and may still achieve that status, perhaps just by denying Gus of one of the few poker accolades he still craves as the world watches tomorrow.

The final four competitors and their first final day matches, in Event #4 of the 2010 WSOP Europe are as follows:

Jim Collopy vs. Ram Vaswani

Andrew Feldman vs. Gus Hansen

All four of these players are now just two competitors away from not only a WSOP bracelet, but also a top prize worth £288,409- or around $450,000 USD.  To find out who will take it down tomorrow, or to learn more about Day 1 and Day 2, visit powered by PokerNews.
