Nacho’s On The Brain Due To High Rollers

The PokerStars European Poker Tour London High Rollers event concluded today with Jose “Nacho” Barbero, taking the title and top prize of £556,000- or about $880,000 USD.

Barbero, a sponsored PokerStars pro and former Latin American Poker Tour multiple event champion, outlasted a total field of 77 players to claim the title including such pros as Daniel Negreanu, Erik Seidel, Sorel Mizzi, David Williams and Vanessa Rousso.

Some of the notable players bested at the final table included Andrew Robl, Will Molson and Vanessa Selbst, who eventually came in 4th for £145,000- or about $230,000 USD- officially pushing her into the top 5 on the Women’s All Time Money earners list.

The final table payouts for the £20,500 buy-in, 2010 EPT London High Rollers were as follows:

1st.  Nacho Barbero- £556,000

2nd.  Jani Sointula- £335,000

3rd.  Andrew Robl- £198,000

4th.  Vanessa Selbst- £145,000

5th.  Fabian Quoss- £107,000

6th.  Matt Marifioti- £76,500

7th.  Will Molson- £61,200

8th.  Pierre Neuville- £45,900
