It looks like the price of poker is going up, as this years World Series Of Poker will be bigger and pricier than ever.

This year\'s 55 event schedule begins and ends with a 10,000.00 dollar buy-in event. Put that with the other 6, 10,000.00 events, not to mention the 50,000.00 World Championship H.O.R.S.E event and even some of the more accomplished tournament players, might begin thinking about their bankrolls.

2008\'s series isn\'t just for the whales though, there are still plenty of 1,500.00 events tailor made for the rest of us, including, a total of 8 No Limit Hold\'em events.

Non Hold\'em players should be pretty happy too, with events in Razz, Stud, Deuce to Seven, Omaha, and even (this authors favorite) Pot Limit Omaha Hi-low Split-8 or Better, to name just a few.
