Poker At The Taj Turns to Violence
April 8, 2022
An argument at a poker table in the Atlantic City Trump Taj Mahal Casino last Saturday eventually lead to the death of 61-year-old Arthur Prince of Toms River, New Jersey. Prince was allegedly stabbed numerous times by Vicente Perez, 57, of Macon, Georgia, while the two men continued an argument outside the casino in the garage near the valet area.

Apparently the argument originated over a seat at one of the $1/2 no-limit tables. One of the players believed his seat should have been locked up while he went for more money, whereas the incoming player believed the seat was now rightfully his.

Vicente Perez has been taken into custody and is being charged with: aggravated manslaughter; unlawful possession of a weapon; and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, according to Atlantic County Prosecutors.
