PokerStars.com is now giving players even more reason to play with their brand new "Battle of the Planets" promotion. This new promotion encourages sit-and-go players of all levels to compete for bonus cash prize pools ranging from $3,000 to $10,000. To win the cash, players must do well on weekly sit-and-go tournament leader boards. If players are especially successful, not only will they win bonus cash that week, but they also will get entered into the monthly "Battle of the Planets" $50,000 triple shootout.

PokerStars.com plans to give away more than $3,000,000 a year from this new promotion, which seems awfully generous, given it doesn't cost PokerStars players anything extra to play in it.
