Philly Becomes Major Player With New Poker Room
November 4, 2021
Pennsylvanian Poker Players, previously use to driving all the way to Atlantic City for a good selection of games, now have a much easier option, thanks to the Parx Casino’s new dedicated poker room outside Philadelphia.

This new 24 table poker room, soon to be expanded to 61 tables by early next year, is located in what was previously the PhillyPark casino, just next door to the new 260,000 square foot main Parx casino, in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, the building now being called Parx East.

Along with already offering games in Hold ‘em, 7-Card Stud and Omaha, the new dedicated poker space also features numerous flat screen televisions, food service, and a circle bar, according to a recent featured article in the Philadelphia Inquirer.  The poker room, which informally began hosting games Wednesday, will have its official Grand Opening celebration this Friday (11/5), hosted by Kevin Dillon of Entourage fame.
