IP Casino Resort & Spa Concludes Circuit Main Event
November 10, 2021
It takes guts to start a major poker tournament on the same weekend as the conclusion of the World Series of Poker Main Event and still expect people to notice.  Few organizations would have the gall to try to share the spotlight with a big dog like that, yet one did and it was ironically the World Series of Poker, for the $1,600 buy-in, WSOP Circuit Main Event at the IP Casino Resort and Spa in Biloxi, Mississippi.

This most recent Circuit ring event attracted 270 entrants and boasted a total prize pool of $392,850.  That significant pool, was enough to payout the top 27 spots and award the winner, Crawfordsville, Indiana’s, Travis Lutes, a grand prize of $95,253, to go along with his first Circuit ring and entry into the end of season $1,000,000 guaranteed Circuit National Championship, easily the largest prize this 27-year old amateur player had ever received.

The final table finish positions for the 2010 WSOP Circuit IP Casino Resort & Spa main event were as follows:

1st.  Travis Lutes- $95,253

2nd.  Farid Nasserazad- $58,857
