NAPT Los Angeles: Day 2
November 15, 2021
Day 2, conglomeration day, saw the Day 1a and 1b survivors of the PokerStars North American Poker Tour Los Angeles main event, come together to play towards the 104 person money bubble.  In that goal, the surviving players clearly succeeded, with only 81 players left by the end play, of the 314 Day 2 starters.

Obviously, with such a large number of eliminations in one day, Day 2 was responsible for the end of many top pros like Daniel Negreanu, Kristy Gazes and Shannon Shorr, yet there were still plenty of notable players among that final 81, when the chips began to be bagged at the end of the night.

Some of the top pros still in the hunt include Michael Binger, Phil Laak, Matt Affleck, Joe Tehan, Jason Mercier, Eric Haber, Carter Gill and Thomas Marchese, though he’s severely short stacked with only about 32,500 in tournament chips.

Day 3 of the NAPT Los Angeles main event is already underway.  To follow updates from Day 3 at the Bicycle Casino, or to for more details from Day 2, visit the PokerStars blog.
