Eastgate To Donate His Bracelet
November 15, 2021
2008 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Peter Eastgate, after reportedly retiring from poker, has apparently decided to donate his Main Event bracelet to charity.

This item, currently up for bid on eBay, is described as a Corum designed, 18k White Gold bracelet, decorated with 291 individual diamonds, and the words “World Series of Poker 2008” written across the face in silver.  The bracelet, in components alone, has in the past been valued at over $15,000.

All the money raised by the selling of the bracelet will go to UNICEF, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children around the world survive and thrive.  The bidding on the bracelet is set to begin at $16,000, but as of this writing- despite the value and historical significance- not a single bid has been recorded.
