888.Com Announces Their 2007 Year End Results
April 9, 2022
888 Holdings PLC has released their preliminary 2007 year end results showing a positive year overall despite losing the US market due to the UIGEA. 888 Holdings PLC owns and operates Pacific Poker, Casino-On-Net, and 888sport, among other lucrative sites. This diverse company saw positive growth in 2007 due in large part to their successful online casino which was recently voted "Casino of the Year" by eGaming Review Magazine.

Although it is true that 888 did not make as much net revenue in 2007 as it did in 2006 ($216.9 million as opposed to 289.9 million), 2007 must still be seen as a very positive year, as all markets outside the US showed substantial growth. The 2007 numbers were the result of what CEO Gigi Levy called "a year of transformation" for the company. Showing that is not only aware of the difficulties of surviving in a post-UIGEA world, but also know just what steps they must to take to flourish in it.
