NAPT Los Angeles: Day 3
November 16, 2021
The PokerStars North American Poker Tour Los Angeles main event zoomed along yesterday at Bell Garden’s Bicycle Casino, as a Day 3 starting field of 81 players was cut down to 19.

All of those 81 were already in the money at the start of the day's play, though those min-cashes were probably of little comfort to the 62 victims sent packing during the day's insanely productive 6 levels of play.  Some of the big names eliminated on Day 3 included Phil Laak, Carter Gill, Thomas Marchese, Steven Karp and Gavin Griffin.

With only 19 entrants remaining by the end of Day 3 play, each of those survivors is now guaranteed at least $18,000, or as much as $725,000.

Some of the notable players still in contention at the start of Day 4 this morning included Matt Affleck, Joe Tehan, Ray Henson, Jason Mercier, Michael Binger and Christopher Demaci, the chip leader by the end of Day 3 play.
