NAPT Los Angeles: The Final Table
November 17, 2021
What started as a group of 701 hopeful players at the PokerStars North American Poker Tour Los Angeles main event at the Bicycle Casino, has been reduced down to one single table of players, all of whom basically now just have to win a sit-n-go, to earn three-quarter of a million dollars.

The final eight players of that starting group are a mirror like representation of what turned out to be an extraordinarily tough field.  More than half of the final eight are well known pros, one of whom, that being Jason Mercier, already has a major NAPT victory, having won the Mohegan Sun $25,000 buy-in, No-Limit Hold ‘em Bounty Shootout in April.

Other well known pros still in contention include Ray Henson, Michael Binger, Anh Van “Diesel” Nguyen, and Joe Tehan.  The chip leader currently is Chris DeMaci, with over 6 million in tournament chips.

The chip counts going into the NAPT Los Angeles main event final table are as follows:

Chris DeMaci - 6,283,000

Jason Mercier - 3,800,000

Ray Henson - 3,268,000

Jacob Toole - 1,975,000

Joe Tehan - 1,907,000

Michael Binger - 1,670,000

Anh Van Nguyen - 1,058,000

Al Grimes - 982,000
