Tehan Triumphant At NAPT Los Angeles
November 18, 2021
Poker pro Joe Tehan, befuddled the ICM calculators last night at the Bicycle Casino, when he took down the PokerStars North American Poker Tour Los Angeles main event, despite entering the final table fifth in chips out of eight.

Even while facing as difficult a final table as one could muster, with such top pros as Michael Binger and Jason Mercier in the mix, Tehan simply dominated his competition throughout the day, personally eliminating every one of his seven final table opponents.

For the victory, by outlasting a total field of 701 players, Tehan earned a top prize of $725,000 as well as his first NAPT title- his largest tournament score since his million dollar WPT Mandalay Bay win in 2006.

The final table finish positions for the 2010 NAPT Los Angeles main event were as follows:

1st.  Joe Tehan- $725,000

2nd.  Christopeher DeMaci- $440,000

3rd.  Al Grimes- $250,000
