Basebaldy Wins Bounty Shootout
November 19, 2021
Wisconsin’s Eric “basebaldy” Baldwin, was the last surviving player yesterday in Compton’s Crystal Casino, at the end of the PokerStars North American Poker Tour, $5,200 buy-in, Bounty Shootout tournament.

Baldwin, a World Series of Poker bracelet holder with over $3.4 million in live tournament cashes, earned a little over $157,000, for taking down this most recent NAPT Shootout event, $3,000 of which was from bounties after personally eliminating fellow pros Chad Brown, Antonio Esfandiari and runner-up Justin Young.

Primarily a winner-take-all event, not including any cash awarded for bounties and the $20,000 players earn for surviving their first tables, Justin Young, despite outlasting 79 of his original 80 opponents only cashed for $26,000 in total, however his six bounties were enough to earn him a free seat into the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Bounty Shootout in January- donated by PokerStars.  Players Young eliminated on route to that seat included Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi, David Williams, Sam Stein, Scott Montgomery, Clint Coffee and Scott Clements.

The final table payouts for the 2010 NAPT Los Angeles Bounty Shootout were as follows:
