EPT Barcelona Day 2: 112 Survivors Thankful To Play Thursday
November 24, 2021
The most recent main event of the PokerStars European Poker Tour, after the merging of the two surviving groups from its Days 1a and 1b, played down to 112 players today in Barcelona, Spain, leaving each player now in the money and with much to be thankful for tomorrow, whether American, European or other.

Among the 112 surviving Day 2 players still sit such notables as Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier, Leo Margets, Marc Naalden, Surinder Sunar, Leo Fernandez and hometown hero Carlos Mortensen, who is slightly short stacked but still well in the hunt for what could be the final leg of his poker Triple Crown.

The chip leader of the group going into Day 3 is American Bryn Kenney, currently just a few tournament checks short of the 700,000 chip mark.
