The Poker Beat Wins Bluff Reader’s Choice Award; Leatherman, Stapleton Also Earn Top Honors
January 24, 2022, and particularly its podcast The Poker Beat, has once again proven itself to be a favorite amongst poker players everywhere, according to the just released results of the Sixth Annual Bluff Magazine Reader’s Choice Awards.

The Poker Beat, a panel poker news discussion show hosted by Scott Huff, won the award this year in the category of Favorite Web-based Poker Show, the show’s second Reader’s Choice Award of the last two years.

The Poker Beat, originally a replacement for PokerRoad’s Big Poker Sundays, has quickly become one of the most popular shows on, and is considered a go to resource by many, not only to find what poker stories are currently making headlines, but how the industry’s top professionals plan to spin them.  Just some of the big names in the poker media often found sharing their thoughts on The Poker Beat include the World Poker Tour’s B.J. Nemeth, Bluff Magazine’s Jessica Welman, ESPN’s Andrew Feldman and Pokerati’s Dan Michalski.

Other winners from this year’s Bluff Reader’s Choice Awards include Doyle Brunson for Funniest Twitter account, PokerStars for Favorite Online Poker Site, and both PokerRoad’s Joe Stapleton and Amanda Leatherman, for Favorite Poker Announcer and Hostess.
