The 2011 World Series of Poker Europe is looking like its going to be quite a bit different from its previous incarnations, trading in London’s famous fog and bangers and mash, for Mediterranean sunshine and topless beaches, when it moves to Cannes in the South of France this October.

This major venue change, the first since the series’ inception in 2007, is just one of numerous changes to this year’s WSOP Europe according to a recent announcement today by Caesars Interactive Entertainment.  The 2011 WSOP Europe will be presented by BarierePoker.fr, thanks to a new partnership agreement with Lucien Barriere Hotels & Casinos, and will also feature a total of seven bracelet events in two main casinos.

The 2011 World Series of Poker Europe begins October 7th. through the 21st. at the Casino Barrière de Cannes Croisette and the Hôtel Majestic Barrière.  For more information visit www.wsop.com.
