EPT Copenhagen: Day 2 Down
February 23, 2022
Day 2 of the PokerStars European Poker Tour Copenhagen main event, saw 262 Day1a and 1b survivors come together to battle down to only 73.

The carnage filled day of No-Limit Hold ‘em featured the elimination of many crowd favorites including Scott Montgomery, Ville Wahlbeck, Annette Obrestad and 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Peter Eastgate, yet by the end of play there were still a handful of familiar names hanging around with chips.

Some of the notable Day 2 surviving players now less than ten eliminations from the money include Surinder Sunar, Juha, Helppi, Johnny Lodden, J.P. Kelly, Per Linde and Michael Tureniec, who currently leads the 73 surviving player field with 640,000 in tournament chips.

Day 3 of the PokerStars EPT Copenhagen- the money day- begins tomorrow.  For more information, or to read some Day 2 highlights, visit the PokerStars blog.
