The Big Event 2011: Ramdin, Hachem Highlight Final Eight

Only eight players now remain in The Big Event at the Bicycle Casino, and both professional poker player Victor Ramdin and 2005 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Joe Hachem, are still holding chips.

With only one table to go in this $5,000 buy-in- previously North American Poker Tour- main event, all eight finalists are now guaranteed at least $35,327, with the top finisher assured a grand prize of $500,000.

The chip counts heading into the final table of the 2011 The Big Event main event are as follows:

1st.  Jeremy Ausmus- 4,008,000

2nd.  Victor Ramdin- 2,279,000

3rd.  Taylor von Kriegenbergh- 1,810,000

4th.  Joe Hachem- 1,666,000

5th.  Bryan Leskowitz- 1,087,000

6th.  Santiago Nadal- 943,000

7th.  Jose Noronha- 568,000

8th.  Govert Metaal- 149,000
