Rally In Olympia: Washington Poker Players Head For The Capital
March 16, 2022
Tomorrow, Thursday the 17th, as much of the world gets drunk for Saint Patrick’s Day, a dedicated group of poker enthusiasts will hit Washington’s capital in the hopes of no longer being seen as criminals.

Organized by the Poker Player’s Alliance, poker’s leading grassroots advocacy organization, this special “Lobby Day” will give regular players a chance to personally talk to state legislators one on one, hopefully showing them the injustice of their state literally treating them as felons, just for trying to enjoy poker online

The day, which begins at 8:30am with a special poker legislation briefing, will be attended by numerous poker professionals including Andy Bloch and Linda Johnson, and is open to the public as well.

For more information on Thursday’s Lobby Day effort, visit the Poker Players Alliance website (www.theppa.org).
