The €3,500 + €250 buy-in, PokerStars European Poker Tour Snowfest main event, began in the Austrian Alps this week with 482 players sitting down with chips.

Among those 482 starting players- 302 of which started on Day 1b- 268 made it into Day 2, all still competing for a part of an established total prize pool of €1,636,390.

The winner of this year’s Snowfest will walk away with a top prize worth €390,000, which when converted into American currency comes to nearly $553,000.

Notable players still in the hunt for that top prize at the start of Day 2 included Liv Boeree, Mike Sowers, Max Lykov, Alex Kravchenko and Casey Kastle.
