Day 3 at the EPT, There's Magic in the Air
April 16, 2022
Day 3 at the European Poker Tour Grand Final in Monte Carlo has come and gone, and it ended with a familiar name at the very top of the leaderboard. Antonio "The Magician" Esfandiari, found himself in the kind of position most poker players can only dream of; 3rd day of a major tournament, a 600,000 pot, his opponent with pocket Kings and Antonio has the Aces. Better still, the Aces held, vaulting Antonio into the chip lead of the tournament with 1,198,000 in chips.

Four hours later the day ended, and only 39 players remained. Of those 39 players, there are still many big name pros, including; Joe Hachem (214,500), Isaac "westmenloAA" Baron (236,500), Johnny Lodden (623,000), Freddy Deeb (140,500), Raymond Rahme (133,000).
