Last year Jennifer Harman raised an impressive $130,000 for the Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (NSPCA) with her "Jennifer Harman Charity Poker Tournament." This year, Jen's second annual event simply shattered last years totals, ensuring the NSPCA can continue their very important work.

This event held at the Venetian Poker Room attracted 271 players altogether and raised more than $325,000, thanks in part to the numerous big name players that not only rebought plenty more than they probably needed to (Noah Schwartz held the record by donating $4,600 in rebuys) but by also donating auction items as well as large amounts of cash. In just one of many examples, the Lederers, Howard and Suzie, ended up donating more than $60,000 dollars when all was said and done.

The second annual Jennifer Harman Charity Poker Tournament was a major success by all accounts and gave everyone involved a great feeling when it was all over. If you missed it, don't worry.
