Cunningham Comes From Behind And Wins the WSOP-C
May 5, 2022
Allen Cunningham began yesterday's final table at the World Series of Poker Circuit event at Caesars Palace, with only 296,000 in chips. This put Cunningham in a solid 7th place out of nine, well behind the 828,000 in chips that the chip leader, Ben Fineman was sitting behind. Yet somehow Cunningham was able to overcome this deficit and win the event to take home $499,162, along with a WSOP-Circuit ring and an entry to the WSOP Main Event.

En route to Cunningham's first Circuit ring, Allen had to battle against numerous other big name pros including, Ralph Perry, Doug Lee and Justin "ZeeJustin" Bonomo. Apparently, Allen was up for this challenge as he personally was responsible for busting two out of the three other pros at the table.

The final table pay-outs for the 2008 WSOP Circuit Championship at Caesars Palace are as follows:

1st Place Allen Cunningham- $499,162
2nd Place Benjamin Fineman- $257,637
3rd Place Kelly Samson- $128,816
4th Place Motoyuki Mabuchi- $112,714
5th Place Justin Bonomo- $96,612
6th Place Blair Hinkle- $80,510
7th Place Thomas Hover- $64,408
8th Place Ralph Perry- $48,306
9th Place Doug Lee- $32,204
