Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick may once again be trying to get a bill passed that will allow for a land based casino. Patrick's last attempt to get such a bill passed failed after he added a controversial online poker prohibition to it, which would have made internet poker in Massachusetts illegal. This time around, Patrick, according to reports, has no such addendum, meaning poker lovers will no longer have their loyalties split and the bill may be more roundly embraced by the gambling community.
