Temporary iTunes Fix! (5)
May 15, 2022
As most of you know, we have been having some major problems with iTunes as of late. We are still working on a permanent solution to get things back functioning the way it used to be, BUT listener Mark Honbo caught a thread on twoplustwo and emailed us this quick-fix. As far as we can tell, it's been working for everyone that's tried it.

SUBSCRIBING TO POKERROAD RADIO VIA iTUNES

While in the iTunes application:

1. Go to your Podcasts.

2. Under the Advanced menu, go to "Subscribe to Podcast...".

3. A window will pop up, prompting you to enter a URL. In that box, type in:

http://www.pokerroad.com/pokerroad_radio/rss.xml

Your iTunes podcast library will begin a subscription (just like it did when you subscribed the first time). You can now download any of the shows from the beginning.

Warning: in following this procedure, you will create a new and distinct subscription from the one you started when you went to the iTunes Music Store. So any changes to ID tags, Description field or Equalizer settings will return to the default. In fact, you probably will discover that you now have duplicates of your subscriptions. The other bad news about this method is that the subscription won't register on the iTunes rankings (not that that matters because you already should be subscribed and counted).

Of course, the good news is that you will stay up to date with all the new shows!

Also, a similar process can be done with the other PokerRoad shows:

Two Jacks In The Hole URL:
http://www.pokerroad.com/two_jacks/rss.xml

Cash Plays URL:
http://www.pokerroadcom/cash_plays/rss.xml

Tips From The Bear URL:
http://www.pokerroad.com/tips_from_the_bear/rss.xml

Big Poker Sundays URL:
http://www.pokerroad.com/big_poker_sundays/rss.xml

Thanks to Mark for bringing that to our attention. Hopefully this method will hold up until we get it back to normal.
