The final World Series Of Poker-Circuit Event is underway at Harrah's New Orleans, and so far it's been a real barn burner. Many big name pros decided to play in this last big event before the series, including TJ Cloutier, Steve Dannenmann, Bill Edler, PokerRoad Radio's Gavin Smith, and last year's winner Lou Esposito. The 249 person field for the event was quickly whittled down to the final table in two short days of play, and unfortunately all of the above mentioned pros were sent to the rail, with one glaring exception - reigning champ Lou Esposito.

Mr. Esposito is currently in eighth place out of nine with only 116,000 in chips, which isn't much, especially compared to chip leader Timothy "TK" Miles stack of 687,000. Yet if somehow Esposito were able to rally and win this thing and pull off the nearly unheard of back-to-back championship, this little poker tournament in the "Big Easy" could easily turn out to be one of the biggest poker stories of the year.
