In a move that seems eerily similar to Bodog's recent announcement regarding their series of "Mini-SOP" tournaments, Full Tilt Poker has announced they too will be running events that coincide with the World Series Of Poker, but at a fraction of the cost (1%). The Full Tilt Poker "Mini Series of Poker," will run from May 30th through July 5th and will offer event buy-ins between $10 and $500.

Unlike Bodog, Full Tilt Poker is offering 54 events in their series and not just in Hold 'em but in Omaha, Stud, Razz, H.O.R.S.E., and many others. Players who participate in the "Mini Series" will not only have a chance to win the regular cash prizes, but can also win custom-designed FullTilt Poker watches and possibly even a seat at the 2009 World Series Of Poker.
