PokerStars Makes Us Proud
May 28, 2022
After a magnitude 8.0 earthquake rocked China last week, the country could use some friends, and PokerStars.com is heading the call. This devastating earthquake killed more than 67,000 people and left millions more injured or homeless. Major relief is needed and that's where PokerStars comes in. PokerStars.com has announced a new relief fund they've created to help the country, which they hope their players will fully endorse.

The "China Earthquake Relief Fund" can either be donated to directly through account to account transfers (account name "Quake Relief"), or players can sign up for special "tournaments" where all the buy-in money goes to relief. These "tournaments" never actually get played, signing up for one is just a way to give money to a worthy cause. Money that will be completely matched by Pokerstars before it goes out. The buy-ins for these "tournaments" are between $1 to $100 and can be found under the Tourney/Special tab in the PokerStars lobby.
