Day 1 of the $1,500 buy-in pot-limit hold'em event is in the books, with many big name players still in the mix including David Singer, Tom McEvoy, Lou Esposito and yes, PokerRoad's own Eugene Todd (Bro), all still fighting for the next World Series Of Poker gold bracelet.

714 players signed up for event #3, enough to pay out 72 places and create a first place prize of $214,132. The blistering pace of elimination's on day one, saw that 72 player bubble breached by the end of the first day of play, thus allowing all the remaining players to go to bed, secure in the fact that they had cashed at the World Series Of Poker.

Day 2 of Event #3, is set to begin in the RIO Amazon Room today at 2 pm, and PokerRoad will be there with live broadcasts, videos and blogs.
