WASSUP '08: Event #4, Mixed Hold'em
June 3, 2022
The fourth event in this year's World Series Of Poker is a $5,000 buy-in mixed hold'em (half no-limit, half limit) event which saw 332 players join for a chance at the title. Most of the those 300-some players are well known poker professionals including, Doyle Brunson, Greg Raymer, Daniel Negreanu, Justin "ZeeJustin" Bonomo, Phil Ivey, Gavin Griffin, David WIlliams and Antonio Esfandiari.

The PokerRoad family was also well represented in the event with Joe Sebok, Barry Greenstein, Jeff Madsen, Gavin Smith and Anna Wroblewski all deciding to play. The first day saw the 332 player field cut down to 91, with many big names ending the day with nothing more than disappointment and slightly more experience. Sadly, most of the PokerRoad players were among them with the exception of Anna "The Poker Pixie" Wroblewski who is still in it, with a slightly below average stack of 30,600 in chips.

Joining Wroblewski for Day 2 will be Erick Lindgren, Phil Laak, Marcel Luske, David Grey, Josh Arieh, Chau Giang, Howard Lederer, Andy Bloch, JC Alvarado, Bill Chen, Jimmy Fricke, Ted Forrest, Thomas Keller, David Williams and Justin Bonomo just to name a few.

With so many big names still in the hunt and only 36 players making the money, our Ms. Wroblewski certainly has her work cut out for her today.
