WASSUP '08: Negreanu Poised For Possible Bracelet Glory
June 12, 2021
PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu has made his first final table of this year's World Series Of Poker in Event #20, the $2,000 Limit Hold'em. Negreanu survived a daunting Day 2 that saw numerous highly skilled pros like JC Tran, Amnon Filippi, Phil Hellmuth, Alex Kravchenko, Thor Hansen, and Shannon Shorr all hit the rail. Daniel is without question the biggest name and possibly the biggest threat.

Negreanu will enter the final table third in chips (308,000) behind Ugor Marangoz (402,000) and chip leader David Baker (409,000), so obviously a victory here is far from a lock. This is probably of little consolation to the many, many people that have bet Negreanu that he will not win a bracelet this year. I think it's safe to say that there will be a lot of people sweating today, and not because of the Las Vegas heat.

The $2,000 Limit Hold'em Final Table is set to begin at 3pm, Pacific Time.
