WASSUP '08: The Bear Bags A Bracelet!
June 16, 2021
Barry Greenstein, esteemed PokerStars pro and PokerRoad's big Poppa, got one heck of a Fathers' Day gift yesterday when he took down Event #26 at the World Series Of Poker, ($1,500 Razz). First place for the event paid $157,619, and a coveted WSOP bracelet.

This was Barry's first bracelet of the 2008 series, his third cash, and his second final table appearance. In his previous final table (less than a week ago), Barry took 3rd for $225,552.

Ironically, in one of Greenstein's earlier blogfessional videos here at PokerRoad (June 2nd, 2008), Barry seemed a bit perturbed at how things were going so far, having not cashed in his first few events. Greenstein finished the video by saying, "hopefully better things will happen tomorrow." Well Mr. Greenstein, with this your third WSOP bracelet and a first place prize that puts your lifetime tournament earnings well above the $6 million mark, I think it's safe to say that Not only did better things happen, but you happen to just keep getting better.
