WASSUP '08: Minieri Wins His First Bracelet

Italian Dario Minieri, a player as well known for his ultra-aggressive style as he is for his Harry Potter'esqe neck wear, took down Event #31 yesterday for $528,418 earning himself his first ever World Series Of Poker Bracelet.

Event #31, the $2,500 No-Limit Hold'em Six-Handed tournament, initially attracted 1,012 players, creating a prize pool of $2,327,600. Taking the second biggest cut of that prize pool was Seth Fischer, who finished runner-up to Dario despite having the chip lead when heads-up play began. Fischer won $330,519 for his second place effort.
