WASSUP '08: Harrington's Spoiler Wins Event #32
June 20, 2021
To quote the carny from the Simpsons: "there's no shame in being beaten by the best." We can only hope PokerRoad's Court Harrington (insert banjo music) can take comfort in that fact, as the man who knocked him out 14th in Event #32, the $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em, went on to crush the final table and take home the bracelet.

Jose Luis Velador won the final table of Event #32 wire to wire, entering as the chip leader and never looking back. During the heads-up portion of the match, second place finisher Anthony Signore came closest to overcoming Velador's menacing pile, but eventually even he shared the fate of all the others that tried before him. Signore's valiant effort earned him $366,387 for his runner up finish.

Jose Luis Velador for his first place victory was able to claim the lion's share of the $3,144,960 prize pool, earning himself $573,734 and his first World Series Of Poker bracelet.
