WASSUP '08: Benyamine Bracelets The 37
June 25, 2021
We're beginning to run out of people to claim the title of "Best Player without a Bracelet." David Benyamine's win on Saturday in the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha followed in the footsteps of Nenad Medic, David Singer, Erick Lindgren, and Kenny Tran, all of whom were in the running for "Best Player without a Bracelet" for a few days. With the bracelet, Benyamine also secured a first prize worth $535,678 and possibly a little more in bracelet bets.

Benyamine bested a stacked final table with seemingly no weak spots, featuring Mike "The Mouth" Matusow, Eugene Katchalov, David Chiu, Toto Leonidas, Ram Vaswani, Jason Gray, Greg Jamison, and Hieu 'Tony' Ma. Second place went to Jamison despite being perhaps the least known in the field. Jamison, an Omaha 8 specialist, took home $331,350 for his runner-up finish.
