WASSUP '08: Bell Bested By Belgain
June 25, 2021
Chris Bell made it all the way into heads-up play in Event # 38, the $2,000 Pot-Limit Hold'em, only to come up just short of his first bracelet to Belgian poker player David Kitai. Despite personally knocking out 5 of the 9 final players, Bell was unable to knock out the one that really mattered and was forced to settle for a very disappointing 2nd place cash worth $155,806. With Kitai's first place finish he earned $244,546, his first World Series of Poker bracelet and the biggest cash of his burgeoning career.
