WASSUP '08: Seidel Going for Nine
June 26, 2021
FullTilt Poker Pro Erik Seidel has made yet another final table in Event #43, the Pot-Limit Omaha Hi/Lo. He will enter the final table second in chips, as he attempts to earn his ninth World Series Of Poker bracelet, while at the same time trying to push his total WSOP tournament earnings above the four million dollar mark (which he will do if he takes either first or second).

Seidel is without a doubt the most experienced and well known player of the nine that remain in Event #43, and with 8 wins and an amazing 51 WSOP cashes to his credit, it would be easy to conclude that Seidel has this tournament all sewn up. However, to assume this one is all over is probably a big mistake. Pot-Limit Omaha Hi/Lo is known to be a tumultuous game with big swings and wild action, and even if one gets their money in with both sides of the pot won, it's still very possible to end up completely scooped by the time the river drops. Seidel will have to tap dance through a mine field to earn this ninth bracelet, but if anyone is up for the challenge it's Erick Seidel.

The final table for Event #43 is set to begin today at 2PM PDT.
